Happy Valentine's Day!

These are "Hot Chocolate on a Stick"s. I can not take credit for these as my friend first brought these to a cookie exchange party and then gave them out as Valentine's Day gifts. I absolutely love them and had to "borrow" the idea. Thanks M for finiding it on giverslog.com and sharing them with me!

Cherry Blossom Gel Candle

Cherry blossom was the theme for the elegant October wedding which we provided favors for. The Bride and Groom wanted to give something each guests could take home and enjoy, so decided on candles. Going with the cherry blossom theme, we hand-made each gel candle and filled it with cherry blossom petals. We are sure each guests that took these favors home felt the warmth of the Bride and Groom's hearts! Gel candles are elegant and versatile favors since they can be customized to each person's individual taste.

November Baby Shower #1

Early this month, we had the privilege of providing food, drinks, favors and tablescaping for three ladies who were throwing a shower for their friends N&D. We will post more pictures as we get them but for now, here are some pictures of the favors- chocolate meringue "nests" with jelly bean "eggs". Aren't they adorable? Also, going along with the bird graphic on our self-made favor labels, we put them on what was previously quite unappealing paper part of some fruity tea bags. It's all in the details, as they say! We thought they were quite charming but we wonder if anyone other than the tea drinkers noticed them...

Very Pink Chocolate Cupcakes

A truly sweet little girl wanted some chocolate cupcakes with REALLY pink frosting. Here are the results. They were made extra special with sprinkles of pink sugar glitters as well as sweet little roses on top... just like the birthday girl.

Whoopie!

I have seen whoopie pies at bakeries before, but it wasn't until I saw an article about them that sparked my interest to make some. And... they were great!!! I'm planning to make some strawberry ones as well as pumpkin ones- the latter would be grrrrreat for the the fall and winter events.

They were recently given out as a thank-you gift as shown here.

A Princess Party

Princess friends received a candy wand along with a formal invitation.
Children filled up the colorful take-out boxes full of candies (note the pretty little lollipops sticking out of each boxes).
Princesses bouncing around! They also played a relay game where they raced with a book on their heads.
Princess friends took pictures like this (J's dog is modeling here) after decorating their tiaras and getting made-up.
On the menu: mini pizza, PB&J and turkey&guacamole sandwiches in different shapes, fried ravioli, punch; and fruit kabobs (a picture of us making them).
Castle cake!

chef themed birthday party

This is an example of a customized birthday party we offer at Choix.
The birthday girl had been showing interest in cooking and had been having a blast in the kitchen, so... chef themed birthday party was the perfect solution! The children decorated their aprons and hats, posed for the camera with their chef's outfit, made their own pizza and then ate the pizza, played games, decorated their own cupcakes and filled up their favor boxes with candies! What more can a kid ask for?
Kids having a blast posing for the camera in their very own chef outfits!

Each child decorated their own apron and chef's hat, and...
they made their own pizza!

Tattoos are always fun!

They loved decorating their own cupcakes with a frosting of their choice (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate) as well as some sprinkles!
Our cupcakes with our very delicious and very unique frosting for the chaperones.

mmm... cookies

These "M" cookies were requested by a client for her son's first birthday party favor. We hope Micah's family and guests found them to be as cute and sweet (okay, maybe not that sweet) as Micah is!

We put these three types of cookies in each package as our client indicated in this picture.

Here they are, all 75(x3)+ of them!
